Well, well, well, what do we have here? Last year the Assistant Commish won the strap, and this season the Commish followed suit. Isn’t that special. Hmm… I’m thinking of a word to describe this… what could it be, what could it be, I can’t put my finger on it… oh wait, I’ve got it. Could it be —

My lawyer is having none of it and assures me this kind of blatant corruption won’t go unpunished.

However, until definitive proof of malfeasance is introduced in a court of law (lame), I guess I have to congratulate the PNW Evergreens on seizing the 2025 Gulfman League Championship. The dynamic duo of Chase Brown and Chris Olave combined for 69 (nice) points and put the game away before CMC even took the field on Monday night. Now, that’s impressive. And, as was the case in 2023 and 2024, the highest-scoring team took the crown. It’s almost as if total points is all that really matters in fake football. Weird.
As for the Purdy Mouth, well, after three consecutive title game defeats, they are one step closer to becoming the 1990s Buffalo Bills, who of course famously faceplanted in four straight Super Bowls. So yeah, at least they got that going for them.

That wraps up another wild and wacky fantasy football campaign. If you took the time to read my ridiculous ramblings every week, I thank you. If you didn’t, you’re dead to me.
Until next year…
